It's so important to find a good cougar dating site right now. A lot of older women are still socially distancing and are completely skipping bars and clubs to meet men online 100% of the time. If you're not where they can find you there are going to be a lot of opportunities you would have that you miss out on.

With a name as straight forward as Cougar.com you would hope that they would deliver on their promise. You would hope that they would provide a top-notch site where you can find attractive older women to meet and date. We took the time to test them out and see if this is actually worth spending time on.
Cougar.com Review - Is this Site Legit or A Scam?
Here is what we found when trying out Cougar.com for our review, at least before it changed things up and moved further away from being a dating site. It's a little different now as you will see further down:
Cougar.com Review Warning Sign #1 - The women shown on the homepage are models
When you first arrive on the page after clicking on the Cougar.com link things look pretty good except that now you are on a completely different site (MIlfaholic). The design is modern and doesn't appear to be from the 90's. There are a lot of pictures of attractive women. The site seems to be a lot more graphic then your typical cougar dating site but some may be into that.
Once you look a little deeper things start to unravel. Doing a quick Google image search will show that most of the women shown on the homepage are professional models. In fact, there isn't a single woman shown that is actually on the site.
It is a really bad sign when they try to trick you with a bunch of scantily clad models to get you to sign up. Especially when they appear to be trying to play it off like they are members of the site itself.
Cougar Life and AFF are two sites you need
Once you have spent a few minutes using Cougar.com it becomes pretty obvious that this isn't the highest quality site around. We are going to get into the details in more depth below but you can save yourself some time and heading over to Cougar Life now.
With over 7 million members and a population of women that are 100% single cougars, they are going to be your best, especially if you actually want a relationship from this. Cougar.com just can't compete at all in terms of quality or quantity of single cougars that are available.
We got our best results from Cougar Life (which has a free trial) and think you will too.
On the other hand, we have all seen ads for sites that promise to put you in touch with women interested in a quick fling. Almost all of them are complete garbage. In our experience, and we have tested over 100 of these sites in our annual review of the hookup sites that work) there are only two real options: Tinder and AFF.
Tinder is great if you want to date women under 30 and are a fairly good-looking guy yourself. On the other hand, if you want to date women 35+ and don't happen to be blowing people away with your looks Tinder isn't going to do much for you.
We have found that AFF, which you can try for free here, has the most single women 35+ looking for a quick fling of any site we have seen. They have over 50,000,000 active members so it makes a lot of sense that they would.
If you are looking to meet up with a cougar for some responsibility-free fun they are going to be your best bet. Check them out and see what options you have.

Warning Sign #2 - Lots of advertising for live cam shows
Once you register things get even worse. After you go through the registration process of Cougar.com you are swarmed with sketchy ads. Navigating through the site you will see dozens of ads for "live shows", videos, and "enhancement" products for men. When a cougar dating site immediately devolves into spam email advertisements you know you are in trouble.
Legitimate dating sites don't need to blast their users with ads. They provide a great service and in return their users happily pay for it. When you have a site that appears to be 99.9% engaged in advertising instead of providing a service you know you are in the wrong place.
Warning Sign #3 - Lots of fake profiles
Getting past the terrible advertising we investigated the profiles next. There were a lot of profile with photos of attractive women. This is usually a great sign and might be able to make up for the scam ads and overall sketchy vibe.
Sadly the profiles of every attractive woman we look at were obvious fakes. Most of the profiles used pictures of models that can be found elsewhere on the internet. Those that didn't often had photos that didn't even match. Somebody make an effort, but not too much of an effort, to fill this site with the photos of attractive women. Sadly it is very likely that none of them have ever actually logged onto this site.
Warning Sign #4 - Fake messages and "Buddy Requests"
The final straw was the fake messages and "buddy requests" that immediately began flooding in after I registered. This is a favorite tactic among the fake cougar dating sites and can be very effective in getting young men to sign up for a paid membership. In our case we received three messages and three buddy requests in less then five minutes.
Now you might be thinking that sounds pretty good. If this was a legitimate site you would be right. In this case it is extremely unlikely that three attractive women would message someone with a blank profile within minutes of them signing up!
Warning Sign #5 - This site now forwards you somewhere else
It looks like our previous review was right on the money. As of 2019 Cougar.com will now send you directly to an adult website. It would appear that they have finally given up trying to convince you that this is a legitimate site and now get straight to the point.
Cougar.com Review Conclusion
It is pretty obvious by now that this site is to be avoided. You will not be seeing it anywhere near our Best Cougar Dating Sites list this year or ever. It is already hard enough to find and meet attractive older women. You don't want to waste any of your limited time or money on a site like this that won't help you reach your goals.
