Quite clearly then, MatureDating.com is not recommended for any man to waste their hard-earned money. Why do I say that? Let’s explore what happened during my test of this website…
My inbox was flooded with messages within seconds of my account being created
As always, I planned to leave my account blank for 24 hours to test if MatureDating.com uses bots or not. Normally, I would complete the sign-up process and return a day later to see the results of this experiment.
However, with MatureDating.com, my blank profile began getting flooded with messages within seconds of signing up.
I couldn’t read these messages without signing up for a paid subscription. This is one of the biggest warning signs of a scam website. When I tried to reply to these messages, I was transported to a payment page to sign up for a monthly subscription.
I received zero replies to my messages
Despite these immediate red flags, I soldiered on and signed up for a premium account the next day. I responded to some of the many accounts that had sent me a message but received no replies.
I started conversations with some profiles in my local area but received no replies. I sent 50 messages in total and received 0 replies, even after waiting a week for some contact.
Even on the less popular dating sites out there, most men get at least one response when he sends out 50 messages. I had reason to believe that my messages, while not the most unique, were enticing enough to get a response. And if the women aren’t interested in my texting capabilities, surely my fairly conventionally attractive photo should have gotten at least one reply.
In other dating sites, I could get at least one reply when I’m on the site for a couple of weeks. But with MatureDating, it seemed like none of the women were even remotely interested in me… or there aren’t any real women here at all.
There appeared to be no profiles with unique information written in their bio
An online dating newbie might be surprised to receive zero replies on MatureDating.com, especially after being flooded with messages immediately after signing up. However, the truth is that you’ll see so many red flags on this website when you know when to find them.
Here’s another warning sign: I couldn’t find one profile with unique information written in their bio. Not one sentence.
That’s another surefire sign that the profiles weren’t created by the women in the photos.
Not all the women on the site are “mature”
For a site with marketing material centered around older singles, there seems to be a larger proportion of younger women on the site. On the homepage, most of the profiles I saw were for women younger than 40. I then realized that this is because of the default search settings.
If this is the default, then the site clearly doesn’t adhere to the concept of “Mature Dating”. So I had to wonder, what was the point? If this is a site that doesn’t exclusively cater to older singles, then why should I bother with it if I only want to date someone who’s older?
Stay away from MatureDating.com. Use eHarmony instead.
So I used the MatureDating free membership and got nothing. Then I switched to the paid membership and got nothing as well (other than yet another questionable charge in my credit card). So what does this tell me?
For starters, if I were to use a dating app to meet older women, I’m better off using an app that actually gets results. One of the best dating apps for this is eHarmony, an app that has been around for ages and is currently responsible for up to 4% of all marriages in the USA today. Those are numbers that don’t even hold a candle to sites like MatureDating.com.
Another reason you’re better off with eHarmony is its ease of use. You’re not just left alone to message whoever you want, not knowing if you’d hit it off. eHarmony finds matches for you based on your preferences and the preferences of the women on the site. You can get about 5-10 matches a day, and while that doesn’t seem like much, these are curated matches that might surprise you.
So if dating an older woman is what you’re into, forget Mature Dating. Use eHarmony instead so you know you’re not wasting your time or money!

MatureDating Profiles, Pictures and Members
The Mature Dating profile allows you to add multiple photos and a 140-character status update. You’re also given a range of multiple-choice questions to answer about yourself. There are plenty of profiles to browse on MatureDating.com, no matter what part of the United States you search.
It’s not just older women in these profiles either. If you use the search filters to find younger women, you’ll find profiles too. As I mentioned, this then defeats the purpose of signing up to a site that caters to older singles.
However, all the profiles I viewed had no information in their status update. Most of them only had one photo uploaded. This is a huge red flag, which you can take as a massive indicator of a scam website.
After all, you’d expect to find at least one woman who bothered to write something about herself in her bio, right?
MatureDating.com Design
MatureDating.com has a modern design and it looks the part, at least! The main dashboard is packed with profiles of women in your local area, and you can use this page to filter your search by age, gender or location.
Each profile has a “Chat” button underneath it. Click it and a new tab will appear, allowing you to message that account without having to navigate to a new web page. This allows for quick and easy messaging.
It’s easy to navigate this website. In fact, this is one of the most effective online dating website designs I’ve seen. Sadly, it’s wasted on a service that seemingly has no real members.
Mature Dating Messaging and Chatting
After signing up for a free account, you’ll be flooded with messages from female accounts. However, you won’t be able to read them until you sign up for a premium membership. You’ll only be able to send five messages yourself until you’re prompted to splash the cash on a paid membership.
If you do sign up for a premium account, you’ll be able to send unlimited messages. However, I wouldn’t bank on getting any replies.
After messaging 50 women, I received 0 replies. This is from our dummy account, which normally gets plenty of responses on other dating websites.
What can you do with a free membership on MatureDating.com?
A free membership allows you to browse other members’ profiles – and send a total of five messages. You’ll be bombarded with messages, but you won’t be able to read them until you sign up for a premium membership. Essentially, all you can do with a free profile is browse and look at profiles. Pretty pointless, if you ask me.
MatureDating Ads
You might spot a few text adverts for other online dating websites, which appear to be sister websites for MatureDating.com, as they have similar designs. Occasionally, a pop-up ad will tell you to sign up for a paid account. Upon clicking one of these, you’ll soon realize that all the members on MatureDating also (miraculously) have an account on one of these sister dating sites.

There are four lengths of premium membership to choose between. The longer memberships will cost you less per day, but are more expensive overall.

You can also buy an add-on pack for an additional $0.95 per day. This add-on pack will give you extra features such as incognito browsing, read receipts, auto history cleaning, and HTTPS encryption. It also supposedly gives your account better placement in other members’ search results and inboxes.
Needless to say, I wouldn’t recommend wasting a penny on any of these products.

This review was awesome. But what I wanted to comment was the fact that, as a Black female, I was turned off from using this site immediately because when it came up in my search criteria, I noticed the initial page had NO ETHNIC people whatsoever. Curious, I clicked the website's name in the upper left corner to take me to the main page and it TOO had only Caucasian couples! I was like, "Oh, wow...in this day and age? NO representation? Not even a token Black?" I don't usually notice things like this (as my family is military and strongly interracial and my own children are bi-racial), but it was so egregious that I couldn't HELP but notice it.
