After doing a full review of Senior Sizzle we can say that it was pretty surprising. It has a pretty decent and easy to use design, there are a lot of people on the platform, and it’s easy to use. We didn’t have quite as good of results as we did with other similar sites but it was pretty solid.
As I’ll explain soon, the privacy and security on this site is pretty great and I saw it first hand.
An active security team there to protect you
For many of these dating site reviews, I’ll set up a fake profile. It’ll still be complete and look entirely real but it’s not my personal photos or information. I don’t want my articles to influence the outcome as I set up dates.
After a couple of weeks with a free profile, we upgraded my account to the premium one as usual. The next day, I attempted to log in and start chatting with women on the site only to find this message:
My account was no longer active. . . uh-oh. At first, I couldn’t be sure if this was a scam site where they delete your profile after taking your money. It seemed unlikely given that they’re part of the Friend Finder Network so I reached out to their support team.
A couple of days later, I received a response from the AFF risk management team. They were requesting verification of my credit card and driver’s license. Say what you like about the site’s poor design (and I will, next), at least you know they’re looking out for your safety.
The downside for this review, of course, is that I have limited screenshots to show you since I got kicked out!
Very little functionality as a free user
Particularly as someone whose account was deleted after upgrading to premium, this was a little frustrating. But also a good thing for the site’s users, let’s not forget that. It’s a very good thing, just not for me.
Still, sometimes you want to get a feel for what the site is like before you go handing over your money. Unfortunately, these sites heavily restrict your access until you upgrade.
About all you can really do is look at some profiles and chat with people via Messenger. That means you can only chat to a handful of users while they’re online and active.
Take a look at the below screenshot as an example. As the heading suggests, it’s a filtered view, showing only the profiles I could view with a free account.
Given the apparent size of their user base, to be limited to seeing just four profiles is a little extreme but understandable.
It’s in the same network as AFF
Since this site is even part of the Friend Finder Network, my suggestion is to simply cut out the middle man. Go straight to their primary website, AFF, where the real action happens.
Rather than hanging out here and jumping through the hoops I have, invest your time in a real site. My experience on AFF has been several dates within about 24 hours with minimal work — so long as you take the time to set up a proper profile and engage.
What we liked and hated about Senior Sizzle
No matter how good or bad a dating website might be, we still need to look at things objectively to really judge it. In the case of Senior Sizzle, the bad outweighs the good but it’s still important to take a look at both. If for no other reason than to better educate yourself on what a poor site looks like.

You don’t need to be a web designer to see this site is severely lacking. Credit where it’s due, it’s functional and somewhat intuitive but it’s still hard on the eyes.
With that said, you really can’t go judging a website by its appearance alone. Some of the most dangerous sites I’ve reviewed had a good looking template.
